Genesis 4:7

Moses writing (God speaking via scripture...The Word) and directly quoting the Lord of Israel as He lays down commands that strongly imply freedom to choose to obey or not..."free will".

Wycliffe Bible of 1384: Whether not if thou schalt do wel, thou schalt resseyue; but if thou doist yuele, thi synne schal be present anoon in the yatis? but the desir therof schal be vndur thee, and thou schalt be lord therof.

King James Bible of 1611: If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

NAS Bible of 1960: "If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it."
