Matthew 11:27

The apostle Matthew writing (God speaking via scripture...The Word),  being a direct quote of Jesus during a discourse to John the Baptist, the disciples, and the people gathered...about the Father choosing to whom to reveal the Son.

Wycliffe Bible of 1384:  Alle thingis ben youune to me of my fadir; and no man knewe the sone, but the fadir, nethir ony man knewe the fadir, but the sone, and to whom the sone wolde schewe.

King James Bible of 1611: All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

NAS Bible of 1960: "All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

NIV Bible 1973-78: "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
