Matthew 11:28-30

The apostle Matthew writing (God speaking via scripture...The Word),  being a direct quote of Jesus during a discourse to John the Baptist, the disciples, and the people gathered...about Jesus being the source of rest for the weary.

Wycliffe Bible of 1384:

King James Bible of 1611:  28   Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29   Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30   For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

NAS Bible of 1960: 28 "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
29   "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.
30   "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

NIV Bible 1973-78: 28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
