Matthew 2:21-23

The apostle Matthew writing (God speaking via scripture...The Word) of the dream by Joseph to leave Egypt & return with Jesus to Israel.

Wycliffe Bible of 1384: 21 Joseph roos, and took the child and his modir, and cam in to the loond of Israel. 22 And he herde that Archilaus regnede in Judee for Eroude, his fadir, and dredde to go thidir. And he was warned in sleep, and wente in to the parties of Galilee; 23 and cam, and dwelte in a citee, that ys clepid Nazareth, that it shulde be fulfillid, that was seid bi profetis, For he shal be clepid a Nazarey.

King James Bible of 1611: 21   And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.
22   But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:
23   And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

22   But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. Then after being  warned by God in a dream, he left for the regions of Galilee,
23   and came and lived in a city called Nazareth. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophets: "He shall be called a Nazarene."

NIV Bible 1973-78: 21 So he got up, took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel. 22 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning in Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. Having been warned in a dream, he withdrew to the district of Galilee, 23 and he went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets: "He will be called a Nazarene."
