Philippians 3:19-20

Wycliffe Bible of 1384:

King James Bible of 1611:  "19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:"

NAS Bible of 1960: "19   whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things.
20   For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;"

NIV Bible 1973-78: "19 Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things. 20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,"

NLT New Living Translation 1996:  "19 Their future is eternal destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and all they think about is this life here on earth. 20 But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior."
