Another Special Life in Christ

Adelaide is a 22 year old woman who has been saved since she was eight years old.  Over the past 7 years, her life has been slowly going downhill due to circumstances all around her: her mother being diagnosed with anorexia/OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) / major depression, the "loss" of her father through his withdrawing from the family, quitting college because of depression, endless relationships with men that ended in tragedy. She was very conscious of her weight and appearance. She always looked at the girls around her, comparing herself to them. Somehow, through the constant viewing, comparing, looking, she found herself becoming interested in women.

In mankinds' fallenness, people experience urges...sometimes for their entire lives...of various sorts and various degrees of intensity toward non-traditional excitements and topics. MANY young people struggle with same-gender attractions varying from uncommon degrees of traditional like-mindedness to such such things as sexual attraction. Especially in the age span from 12 to, say, 28 years of age, young folk are subconsciously constantly assessing who they are going to be. A number of people persist into life-long struggles with issues.

Genetics: As of August 2015, via Face Book request, I have been unable to have a single soul respond to my request for direction toward a scientific source documenting that homosexuallity is gentically determined and has varying degrees of penetrance (from vaguely curious to flamingly same gender). This would be an easy study now that nearly an entire genome test can be bought retail for less than $1000 per case. Check this, HERE.

Bottom Line: Jesus eternally loves each and every human and is able to rescue each one if the let Him into their lives.

This website author would note (1) that Jesus is all about unity rather than divisiveness. And (2) it is God, Himself, who appears to declare homosexuality a "sin". Jesus followers & denominations recap their positions as to homosexuality in good faith because of what is interpreted as what God says! Yet, Jesus wants us to love and relate well to all, HERE (this link gives a 2015 update as to the idea of a "gay gene", etc.). Focus on the Family is another organization with resources to help non-traditionals who are dis-illusioned with their involvement in any LGBT lifestyle and also to help parents understand factors.
