Hatchet-man cuts into the Cross and becomes a convert:

A highly successful political operative's career culminating in being "the White House hatchet man" ...one of President Richard Nixon's key insiders, he and the President saw it all come tumbling down in the early 1970's. This former marine ended up doing time in federal prison because of his role in the Watergate scandal. During that prison time, he pondered his inner self and was enticed by a friend into taking a look at the claims of the gospel of Jesus Christ: SALVATION is by way of Jesus. Having a legalistic and totally non-naive, highly intellectual inquisitiveness and incisiveness, he was surprised to find himself drawn toward this truth in 1973 as he became a Jesus believer. After his release from prison, Charles "Chuck" Colson has gone on to found (1976) the now international Prison Fellowship Ministries and to use both print and broadcast media (Breakpoint) to give regular commentary about current events from a Christian world-view perspective. Would you trust an "ex con" to tell you the truth? Jesus died on the cross between two thieves after granting the request of one for eternal salvation. He still saves and uses even those who have a terrible past but who come to him in genuine belief. Won't you seriously check out the claims of the Gospel (see that salvation link, above)?
