1 Peter 1:1-2&1:9
The apostle Peter writing (God speaking via scripture...The Word) to the mostly gentile believers toward Rome (who were undergoing widespread questioning and
persecution) about how to face the hard times. Does this actually mean those
elected for salvation or, among those elected for salvation, He foreknew who
would be obedient and evangelize?
