Testimony group #6, PROTECTION, HEALTH, and RESCUE MIRACLES: 

As Tony Snow's (TV commentator & Bush White House press spokesman) life with cancer ended July 2008 (and so did that of internet whiz Randy Pausch), both failed to be fully cured of cancer. But both were healed of cancer. See the connection between faith and health, HERE. Also, I know of one academic effort (H. Jane Teas, Ph.D. @ our local USC in Columbia, S. C.) to investigate miracles which has resulted in the 2008 publication of Faith That Heals: Stories of God's Love, a publication of 45 amazing stories out of the 107 collected. As Mark 5:21-43 shows, Jesus performed miracles! To make a big point as to miracle healings, He gave the healing touch to what were then considered untouchables (keep in mind that we are all sinners). More than a few (example, Gerri Willis, HERE) have said that cancer or other trials were a blessing! To me, these miracles provide additional clues to the Divine just as near-death experiences (NDE) collections do.
