John 10:16
The apostle John writing (God speaking via scripture...The Word),
being a direct quote of Jesus as explained to the Jews about Him being the
Shepherd to the Flock (and the flock being more than Jews [conventionally
thought to refer to the "gentiles"...all non-Jews).
Wycliffe Bible of 1384: 16Y haue othere scheep, that ben not of this foolde, and it bihoueth me to brynge hem togidir, and thei schulen here my vois; and it schal be maad o foolde and o scheepherde.
King James Bible of 1611: 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
NAS Bible of 1960: 16"I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.
NIV Bible 1973-78: 16I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
