Wycliffe Bible of 1384: 25 And lo! a wise man of the lawe ros vp, temptynge hym, and seiynge, Maister, what thing schal Y do to haue euerlastynge lijf?

King James Bible:

25   And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

New International Bible:

25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?"

New American Standard Bible:
