The Vienna Nomogram
[Dr. Shaw's personal website]

This experimental-stage chart/nomogram can be used to determine the optimal number of transrectal prostate gland core biopsies to take/obtain when PSA is between 2-10 and DRE is negative, depending on the man's age and prostate gland TRUS size. The system's cancer detection rate of 37% is equal to octant pattern plus a follow-up biopsy session if initial one was benign1.
