Another Special Life in Christ

Bobby Barnes:

Bobby lives in Pageland, S. C. as of 2005. I'd guess him to be in his 40s and about a 5 foot five inch, stocky, "fire plug" of a man with a neck that is probably better than 20 inches around (I could imagine that he was a "pulling guard" on a football team). He & brother William grew up with a father who was a mean and abusive drunkard and pot smoker. In a drunken brawl, his dad killed a man; and he went to prison on some sort of manslaughter charge and got out in a year. Fourteen years ago, their daddy got saved...becoming a believer in Jesus...and totally changed for the vastly improved better to this day.

He got his Bible training at Tabernacle Baptist College in Greenville, S. C.

I first heard audiotapes of Brother Bobby's preaching at my daughter's church (JBC) in earlier 2005. I got a chance to hear his sermon based on Matthew 6:8-15, The Lord's Prayer, tonight. He preached "a mouth full", and I came away well pleased that I had heard a Godly message from a man of God. I'm sure Bobby's life is greatly interesting; but I really wanted to record the short fact of his daddy's miraculous change following his saving conversion.

Bobby, as an evangelist, has only a part-time job. I just heard today (9/30/07) that the couple he works for (small business owners) were instantly killed in a two vehicle accident.
