| Teenage toughs meet a preacher: Rev. Henry T. Blackaby, author of the book and course,
Experiencing God, was to teach teenage boys in a church in California in about 1965. Shortly, 23 leather-jacketed teenagers walked into the back of that church...none were Christians. As Dr. Blackaby eyed the group, he felt that God had placed him next to a group of hurting young people. Within 3 months, 22 of the 23 teen boys had come to know Jesus as their savior. Their changed lives broke up a gang called The Untouchables. The low-rent housing area where they lived had a high concentration of crime. The crime rate dropped dramatically when God brought 22 teenage boys to eternally saving faith in Christ and saved them from the earthly tragic condition of a criminal life.
