| The "REAL McCoy": The Daddy's parents divorced when he was 7; but, at age 16, he witnessed the dramatic changes for the good in his dad and stepmother following their conversion to Christianity. Daddy converted a year later. He met his wife-to-be at Faith Baptist College, she being a preacher's daughter...they married a year later. Their first child came after fertility drug treatments. Trying for a second child...again with fertility drugs...the couple heard the shock of their lives when doctors discovered septuplets, seven tiny babies. Mom and Dad refused to allow selective termination of four in order to give reasonable chances for a good birth to three. The couple entrusted the pregnancy and future work and future expenses totally to God. God then entrusted the first occasion in recorded world history of the healthy births, on 19 November 1997, of septuplets to Kenny and Bobbi McCaughey (pronounced McCoy) of Carlisle, Iowa. Their Christian families and their fellowship of believers at Missionary Baptist Church committed to help the family, long-term. God stimulated an outpouring of supply of their needs from many sources. Wouldn't you know that God would chose a family of believers to do what had never previously been done!
