Sara R. Gray:

"Miss Sara" is a sweet senior (about 80) in our church. At a fellowship in our home 12 Dec. 2002, during a time of sharing divine experiences, she told of her son getting into an awful car wreck probably 25 years ago. Raised as a Christian, she hoped for his recovery. At his bedside some 3 weeks into his being in a coma, the nurse came in and examined his eyes. She seemed alarmed, and she hurried out of the ICU. Miss Sara leaned over him and took a look for herself...and a sensation of fear and dread came over her...as if, "Oh my, he is about to die". The nurse stuck her head in the room to say, "We are calling for orders for head X-rays to see if the wreck caused a blood clot on his brain."

Suddenly alone and thoroughly frightened as she waited, she fell to here knees and really cried out in a desperate prayer, "Please, God, don't let him die!!" While in this prayer, she felt the weight of a hand on her shoulder...she turned, and no one was there. "Suddenly I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that I had been touched by God. Instantly I knew that he would be OK...I even felt that there wasn't even a need for the X-rays. I was truly & immediately given the peace that surpasses all understanding. I have only told this to a few people because I've been afraid people would think I was crazy. His leg later became so infected from the severe injuries that the doctors advised amputation, but we didn't give permission. He is fine today! I'm here to tell you that faith and the power of prayer are real." See other faith & health information [here]. [see Coma Recovery website; & a case; & a case; and these miracles].
