Another Special Life in Christ

These testimony lives are not stories of "role models". Jesus is the role model!
These are lives wonderfully touched & changed by Jesus!

Media mogul, Ted Turner:

As a youngster, Ted intended to be a missionary. He says that he has been "born again" seven times so he must really be a Christian (or is God just drawing him?...check this). When a teenager, Ted's sister, Mary Jane, came down with lupus and suffered terribly before dying. Ted had prayed for an hour each day "for naught". Ever since, Ted has been mad at God and considers himself an "atheist" or an "agnostic" today.

But, guess what! In spite of his well-known hostility toward Christianity and his notorious line, "Christianity is for losers" [see Dr. John F. Redman], ironically, Ted produced a movie about the central role of the Christian faith in Gen. Robert E. Lee, Gen. Stonewall Jackson, and others ("Gods and generals"). He blames his divorce  from Jane Fonda on her conversion to Christianity [her testimony]. Don't listen to the above pitiful quote! Scroll the testimony index on this website and note the many "winners" (though the "good news" of Jesus is that He loves winners...example [JT]...and "losers"!).

Now, the Christian faith will hold that, if Ted was ever really born again, he can backslide; but he cannot lose his salvation. I tell you that the revelation of the full story is not over as to Ted Turner's position with God.
